Dingo Talk

Dingo Talk

Join Zali and learn all about Australia's native Dingo

Join Zali for a 45min talk on the importance of Australia's top-order land-based predator.

On a quarter of a million acres of picturesque outback, Wooleen Station is playing a leading role in preserving and sustaining the unique ecology of the region. Dingoes have an integral role on Wooleen Station for both conservation of the land, and for cattle production. Learn all about their significance here on the station and their role as an apex predator across Australia. We’ll also cover fun dingo facts, their behaviour and the physiology that makes them so unique.

We'll have 15mins for Q&A at the end. (Please note Eulalia and Steven will not be present at this point)

Dingo talks are subject to availability and minimum numbers and therefore do not run every day. Sometimes urgent tasks arise on the station and animal welfare must take precedent. Be assured we will do everything we can to try and get you on a Dingo Talk.

The Encounter

After the talk, continue on to our private Dingo encounter enclosure where Eulalia and Steve will be waiting. During this time the Dingoes will be free to come and go and interact with you at their comfort level. This means that each experience is different. There is plenty of opportunity for photos and questions during the encounter experience.

It is important that participants within the encounter enclosure remain seated and follow the requests of the Dingo handler to ensure the Dingoes enjoy the experience too.

Encounters are subject to availability and minimum numbers and therefore do not run every day. Sometimes urgent tasks arise on the station and animal welfare must take precedent. Be assured we will do everything we can to try and get you on a Dingo Encounter session.
