As the sun dips below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the outback, the Wooleen Station Sunset Tour offers more than just a spectacular view. It’s a journey into the heart of our regenerative approach to land stewardship.
Guided by our commitment to ecological sustainability, this tour explores the challenges and opportunities of restoring a fragile arid landscape. Learn how we are working to heal the land—rethinking grazing practices, supporting biodiversity, and advocating for the role of apex predators in ecosystem balance. You’ll gain insight into the resilience of native vegetation, the indicators of land health, and how sustainable pastoralism plays a vital role in food security and conservation.
The experience culminates at a granite outcrop, where you’ll enjoy drinks and nibbles as the vast Murchison landscape is bathed in shifting hues—reminding us of the beauty and responsibility of caring for country.
Tours are subject to availability and minimum numbers and therefore do not run every day. Sometimes urgent tasks arise, on the station and animal welfare must take precedence. Be assured we will do everything we can to try and get you on a Wooleen tour.
Wooleen Station sunset tour costs $70 per person per tour.
